Commercial Reporting Manager - Permanent - West London

£60-65k + bonus + excellent benefits | Hybrid (3 days office)


I’m currently recruiting for a Commercial Reporting Manager to join a leading global aviation and logistics business.

This is a prominent role within the Finance function, reporting into and deputising for the Commercial Senior Finance Business Partner, with responsibility for commercial finance consolidation, reporting and providing valuable analytical insight to support key business decisions.

The role:

  • Own the monthly reporting cycle and financial performance reporting across Commercial and Sales & Marketing
  • Lead improvements and efficiencies across the commercial reporting environment, with 1 direct report
  • Deliver reporting against Business Plans, Financial Plans, reforecasts and local targets
  • Provide commercial insight, challenge and financial support to senior stakeholders
  • Present complex financial information in a clear and meaningful way
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation and process improvement
  • Partner closely with wider Business, Revenue Accounting and Order to Cash teams
  • Provide high-quality management accounting and reporting to the business

About you:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong management accounting experience with good commercial awareness
  • Proven track record of business partnering with commercial-facing teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience improving reporting processes and driving efficiencies
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience managing and coaching a direct report
  • Strong Excel and wider finance systems experience
