Sales Executive – Commercial Sector

UK Remote | £50,000–£60,000 Base | £100,000–£120,000 OTE | £5,000 Car Allowance

You know how to open doors, build relationships and turn business challenges into sales opportunities. You’re looking for a role with a broad technology portfolio, technical expertise behind you and the freedom to develop your market.

We’re partnering with an established Microsoft Solutions Partner to recruit a Senior Sales Lead focused on UK commercial customers.

With solutions spanning AI and automation, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Modern Work, Security, and Managed Services, you’ll have plenty of ways to start valuable conversations—and build long-term customer relationships.

💰 What’s on offer

  • £50,000–£60,000 base salary
  • Total OTE: £100,000–£120,000, with uncapped commission
  • £5,000 annual car allowance
  • 9-day fortnight: compress 10 working days into nine and take every other Friday off
  • 25 days’ holiday plus public holidays, rising with service to 28 days, plus your birthday off
  • Holiday exchange scheme: buy up to 10 additional days or sell up to five
  • Private medical insurance, medical cash plan, and life assurance
  • Workplace pension with a 5.5% employer contribution on qualifying salary

The opportunity

This is a senior, hands-on sales role, with approximately 70% focused on winning new customers and 30% on developing existing accounts.

You’ll own the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and leading discovery through to shaping proposals, negotiating, and closing.

You’ll work alongside Pre-Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Marketing to connect customer priorities with solutions that deliver measurable results.

If you enjoy consultative selling and want to build relationships across multiple technology and services opportunities, there’s real scope to grow your accounts and your earnings.

What you’ll be doing

  • Win new business: Identify, engage, and convert commercial-sector prospects across the UK.
  • Grow existing accounts: Build deeper relationships and uncover opportunities for additional solutions and services.
  • Lead business conversations: Understand customer priorities and position technology around tangible outcomes.
  • Own complex sales cycles: Manage discovery, qualification, proposals, negotiation, and close.
  • Build senior relationships: Engage C-level stakeholders and develop influence across buying teams.
  • Bring specialists together: Work with technical and delivery colleagues to shape compelling propositions.
  • Own your pipeline: Maintain clear account plans, accurate forecasts, and consistent opportunity progression.

What you’ll bring

  • A successful track record selling technology solutions, SaaS, professional services, or managed services into UK commercial organisations.
  • A strong new-business mindset, with evidence of winning and developing customers.
  • A sound understanding of the Microsoft Cloud portfolio and its business value.
  • Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Confidence engaging senior decision-makers and building trusted relationships.
  • A structured sales approach, strong commercial judgement, and ownership of your results.
  • A collaborative attitude and the drive to keep improving.

You may currently be a Business Development Manager, Account Executive, Account Director, or Sales Lead. What matters is your ability to create opportunities, earn customer trust, and close business.
