Commercial Sales Representative

Location: Aberdeen

Salary: Competitive + car + bonus

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships and winning business?

We’re looking for an ambitious Commercial Sales Representative to join our team in Aberdeen.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a proven background in B2B sales, telesales, account management or business development who is motivated by targets, enjoys speaking with customers and knows how to turn opportunities into profitable sales.

You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of commercial customers, developing strong relationships while identifying opportunities to retain, grow and win new business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial B2B customers.
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships and maximise retention.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and recommend the right products and services.
  • Maximise upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing effectively while protecting profitability and margin.
  • Manage a sales pipeline and proactively follow up opportunities.
  • Re-engage lapsed and lost customers.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer volume, revenue and margin.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market developments.
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints and service issues professionally.
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and customer records.
  • Consistently achieve individual sales targets and KPIs.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a confident and commercially minded sales professional who enjoys working towards targets and delivering results.

Ideally, You’ll Have

  • Previous B2B sales, telesales, inside sales or account management experience.
  • A proven track record in upselling and cross-selling.
  • Experience working to sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling ability.
  • A confident, resilient and persistent approach.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • Strong customer service and listening skills.
  • The ability to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions.
  • A genuine drive to achieve commercial results.
  • Good IT and CRM skills.
  • GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent.

B2B contact centre and account management experience would be advantageous.
