Commercial Sales Development Manager

Location: Northampton Head Office, with UK travel
Reporting to: Managing Director
Direct Reports: Store Managers
Peer Role: Retail Operations Manager

Drive and grow our B2B fitness equipment business

We are looking for an experienced commercial sales professional to lead and grow our B2B channel, developing new markets and key accounts, and establishing this channel as a significant contributor to the company’s long-term growth.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who has already sold fitness equipment or similar capital equipment into B2B channels and now wants the opportunity to build and scale a high-potential division.

You will take ownership of developing our commercial customer base, this includes gyms, health clubs, corporates, hotels, schools, universities, local authorities, and other commercial operatives – and turn this into a significant and sustainable revenue stream.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow the B2B channel

    • Develop and deliver a clear commercial sales strategy for fitness equipment across all B2B segments.
    • Set revenue targets, build the pipeline, and be accountable for results.
  • Win and develop key accounts

    • Identify, approach, and win new business from gyms, leisure operators, corporates, hospitality, education, and public sector clients.
    • Manage and grow relationships with key decision makers, building long-term partnerships and repeat business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
