Commercial Sales Trainee
Chelmsford, Essex | Full-Time | On Site
Sales is about more than making a sale, it's about understanding people, spotting opportunities and knowing what drives commercial growth.
Myriad is looking for a Commercial Sales Trainee to gain hands-on experience across sales, customer acquisition and business development while building a strong understanding of how commercial results are created.
This is an opportunity to learn sales from the ground up and develop the commercial awareness, communication skills and business knowledge to take on greater responsibility as you progress.

Your Role
You'll work directly on live client campaigns, gaining experience in:
- Face-to-face sales and customer acquisition
- Building relationships and understanding customer needs
- Representing recognised brands professionally
- Communicating products, services and their value
- Working towards individual and team sales objectives
- Understanding campaign results and commercial performance
Beyond the Sale
As a Commercial Sales Trainee, you'll also learn why the numbers matter.
You'll develop an understanding of how customer acquisition contributes to revenue, how campaign performance affects client growth and how strong customer relationships create further commercial opportunities.
As your experience grows, you'll gain greater exposure to business development, campaign management and client growth.

Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or another people-focused environment can be useful, but isn't essential.
