Make an impact beyond your portfolio.

Not all Senior Account Handler roles are created equal. Some are focused on servicing policies. This role is about much more than that.

At Clear, we're looking for a Senior Commercial Account Handler to take ownership of commercial client portfolios, strengthen key relationships and help drive exceptional outcomes for clients, colleagues and the wider business.

This is an opportunity to become a trusted technical specialist within a growing and ambitious organisation. You'll work closely with Account Executives, clients and insurer partners, helping shape renewal strategies, support retention and deliver tailored solutions that create real value.

Alongside managing your own portfolio, you'll play an important role in developing team capability, sharing expertise and helping drive continuous improvement across the wider Broking Operations function.

What you'll be doing

  • Taking ownership of commercial client portfolios, including multi-class and technical risks.
  • Supporting renewal strategy, client retention and portfolio growth.
  • Building trusted relationships with clients, insurers and key stakeholders.
  • Working alongside Account Executives to deliver coordinated, high-quality client service.
  • Acting as a technical point of reference and trusted advisor within the team.
  • Supporting the development of colleagues through coaching and knowledge sharing.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, efficiency and client outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
