Join a Leading Renewable Energy Business as a Solar PV Electrician
We’re currently partnered with a key client of ours, based in the UK, who specialise in commercial and industrial solar installations for prestigious clients across the country, including the NHS, MOD, MOJ, schools and universities.
They’re one of the largest businesses operating within the renewables market and are continuing to grow rapidly. They currently have a turnover of around £45m, with plans to reach £80m–£100m over the next two years. With that growth comes plenty of opportunity for progression and development and they have a strong promote-from-within culture.
They’re now looking to add several Electricians to their installation teams across the Midlands, North West and South West.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Working on commercial and industrial solar PV projects across a range of sites.
- Carrying out electrical installation, testing and commissioning works.
- Working on projects for clients including the NHS, schools, universities, MOD, MOJ and multi-site operators.
- Working on larger-scale commercial installations, including rooftop projects.
- Carrying out electrical works in line with BS7671 and relevant industry standards.
- Reading and working from electrical drawings and project specifications.
- Working closely with the wider installation and project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely and to a high standard.
- Travelling to different commercial sites, with teams kept as regional as possible where they can.

What They’re Looking For:
- Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications.
- Previous experience working within commercial or industrial environments.
- A good understanding of electrical installation, testing and fault finding.
- Experience reading electrical drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of health & safety and electrical regulations.
- A reliable and professional approach to working on commercial sites.
- Solar experience isn’t essential — they’re open to electricians from a strong commercial or industrial background who are looking to move into the renewable energy sector.
