We are seeking a driven and experienced Team Leader to join our rapidly expanding team. As a key member of our company, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the installation of Solar PV systems for commercial properties. We are looking for someone who is ambitious, proactive, and eager to grow within a company that delivers a significant number of solar installations each year.
In this hands-on position, you’ll lead a team of 2-4 Solar PV Installers, ensuring all installations meet our high standards of quality and safety. Reporting to the Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing every aspect of the installation process, from start to finish, ensuring that the team works efficiently and safely on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee the full installation process of Solar PV systems on commercial properties.
- Ensure all installations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Lead and manage a team of 2-4 PV Installers, providing clear guidance and support.
- Brief your team on upcoming jobs and ensure efficient site management.
- Coordinate with the office team regarding materials, logistics, and any site-specific requirements.
- Address and resolve any installation issues before project handover, ensuring work meets our high-quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the process.
- Uphold company policies and drive continuous improvement across operations.

This is a hands-on role, and you’ll be expected to meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality. You will spend the majority of your time working on-site across the UK.
What you'll need to succeed
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for solar energy to lead our team of Solar PV Installers. With experience of managing a team, you’ll possess strong leadership abilities. Your excellent communication and organisational skills will help you keep projects running smoothly while ensuring safety and quality are never compromised.
Essentials:
- Experience of managing a team of PV Installers
- Proven leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- CSCS Card with additional safety qualifications (working at heights, asbestos awareness, manual handling)
- Full driving licence required for travel to various sites across Lincolnshire and beyond
- Positive attitude with excellent people skills to foster a happy and productive work environment
Desirable:
- SSSTS qualification preferred or willingness to obtain
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred

Our head office is in Chippenham, Wiltshire, with additional offices and warehouses in Lincoln, Ringwood (Hampshire), and Kent. For this role, we’re looking for candidates based in the Lincoln area. The position will involve some travel, including occasional overnight stays.
Our working hours are 40 a week, Monday - Friday.
