Commercial Lawyer | Interim | 3 Months | ASAP Start
I’m currently supporting a leading global technology and information services business that is looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join their team on an initial 3-month interim assignment.
This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer with strong SaaS, software licensing and technology contracting experience who is comfortable working on complex agreements and navigating issues that sit outside the standard playbook.
The Role

- Commercial/transactional focus
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business
- Negotiating complex software and licensing agreements within a sophisticated technology ecosystem
Key Requirements
- Strong commercial contracts experience, with significant experience drafting and negotiating complex SaaS, software licensing and technology agreements.
- Proven ability to manage complex and non-standard contractual issues, including negotiations that fall outside the usual playbook.
- Experience leading contract negotiations with senior stakeholders and external counterparties, with strong commercial judgement and a pragmatic approach.
- Experience working within large corporate organisations and multi-person legal/commercial teams, navigating complex structures and multiple business functions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into practical contractual outcomes.
- Experience within financial services, financial information, data or technology businesses.
- Experience using Harvey, Legora or other legal AI tools.
