Signatus are recruiting a Commercial & Licensing Solicitor for an established Belfast law firm with a growing Leisure and Hospitality practice. This opportunity is suitable for newly qualified solicitors and those with up to five years PQE who want to develop specialist expertise while continuing to work on a broad range of commercial matters.
You will receive direct mentoring from three highly regarded senior lawyers and join a well supported department with dedicated administrative assistance.
Previous licensing experience is not essential. Solicitors with relevant training seats or experience in commercial contracts, corporate acquisitions, commercial property or related work are encouraged to apply.

- Support clients across the leisure and hospitality sectors with commercial and regulatory matters.
- Work on licensing applications, renewals and transfers, developing practical expertise with senior guidance.
- Assist with corporate acquisitions, contract negotiations and related transactions.
- Advise on commercial property leases and agreements.
- Develop client advisory and court advocacy skills as your experience grows.
Must have
- Qualified or soon to qualify as a solicitor.
- A commercial legal background or relevant training seats.
- Exposure to contracts, corporate transactions, property or related commercial work.
- Strong drafting and analytical skills.
- An interest in hospitality law and willingness to develop specialist expertise.
Helpful but not essential
- Licensing experience.
- Previous hospitality sector, regulatory or advocacy exposure.
