COMMERCIAL SOLICITOR, 2+ PQE, LEEDS, Develop Your Commercial Career Advising Leading Healthcare Clients
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Solicitor to join a highly regarded and growing team in Leeds, advising a broad range of clients operating within the healthcare sector.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial lawyer looking to work on a varied caseload, develop strong client relationships and gain exposure to interesting and complex commercial matters within a specialist sector.
The Role
You will advise a range of healthcare clients on a broad variety of commercial matters, including:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
- Advising on contractual arrangements and commercial agreements
- Supporting clients with procurement and regulatory matters
- Advising on a range of commercial and operational issues
- Working closely with clients to provide practical and commercially focused advice
- Developing strong and lasting client relationships
- Supporting business development and contributing to the continued growth of the team
You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for your own work and gain significant client exposure, whilst working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.

The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from Commercial Solicitors with 2+ years' PQE and strong experience gained within a commercial practice.
Healthcare experience would be advantageous but is not essential, and applications will be considered from lawyers with relevant commercial experience gained in private practice or in-house.
You will have:
- Strong commercial and contractual experience
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- A proactive and commercially focused approach
- The ability to manage a varied workload and work to deadlines
- The confidence to take ownership of matters
- An interest in developing your client and business development skills
