Commercial Solutions Manager
We're looking for a commercially minded Commercial Solutions Manager to help shape, win and implement strategic partnerships across our Travel, Assistance and Mobility businesses. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing together multiple stakeholders to solve complex commercial challenges. You'll work at the centre of new business opportunities, leading bid responses, coordinating solution design and ensuring successful implementation of profitable partnerships. This role can be based remotely across the UK.
You'll combine commercial thinking, project management and relationship-building skills to develop solutions that meet client needs while delivering sustainable value for Allianz Partners.
What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the Head of Deal Management UK & Ireland, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end coordination of strategic commercial opportunities, from initial opportunity assessment through to implementation.
You'll work closely with Sales, Operations, Product, Pricing, Finance, Legal and Delivery teams to ensure solutions are compelling, commercially viable and operationally achievable.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading and coordinating responses to tenders, RFPs and new business opportunities.
- Working with Sales teams to develop compelling, competitive and profitable client solutions.
- Managing internal governance and approval processes for commercial proposals.
- Coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality deal delivery.
- Project managing the local implementation of successful business wins.
- Supporting client presentations, pitches and solution workshops where required.
- Leveraging Allianz Partners' global capabilities to design market-leading solutions.
- Building strong relationships with local and global stakeholders across Allianz Partners.
- Identifying process improvements that enhance profitability, efficiency and deal conversion.
- Gathering feedback from unsuccessful opportunities and using insights to improve future performance.
- Monitoring market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to inform solution development.
- Using data, digital tools and AI responsibly to improve insight, planning and decision-making.

What We're Looking For
- Experience within bid management, commercial management, solutions design, partnership management, sales operations or consulting.
- A proven track record of coordinating complex commercial opportunities involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong project management and delivery skills.
- Commercial acumen and confidence working with financial data and business cases.
- Experience working within insurance, financial services, travel, assistance or another regulated industry.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience presenting to senior audiences.
- The ability to influence, challenge and build alignment across diverse teams.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience operating within a matrix or international organisation.
- Confidence using CRM platforms, reporting tools and AI-enabled technologies.

Experience within insurance, travel, assistance, mobility, affinity partnerships, financial services or other regulated B2B/B2B2C environments would be beneficial, although direct deal management experience within our sector is not essential.
