About GoPlaces
At GoPlaces, we're revolutionising social commerce by helping brands thrive in the era of socially enabled shopping. We provide an end-to-end solution to brands, such as Shark Ninja and TRIP managing everything from logistics and demand forecasting to affiliate management and live shopping experiences.
Working across beauty, FMCG, and consumer technology, we partner with a diverse portfolio of leading brands to drive growth through innovative commerce strategies. As we continue to scale rapidly, we're investing in exceptional people who are excited to grow with us and help shape the future of social commerce.
Role Overview
We’re looking for an analytical Commercial Strategy Manager to join our business development team. You will own the P&L and forecast for every deal, using our in-house modelling tool to turn market, internal and TikTok Shop data into comprehensive, defensible forecasts. You will also lead deeper commercial strategy, such as bundling and product strategy, and how we price our retainers.
Core responsibilities
Own the deal P&L and forecast:
- You will be the person who builds and stands behind the numbers on every deal.
- Build each deal's P&L in our in-house modelling tool, combining market, internal and TikTok Shop data.
- Produce comprehensive, defensible forecasts for GMV, spend and margin across the launch period and full year.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Lead commercial strategy:
- You will translate category and platform insight into how we package and price our work.
- Own bundling, product and assortment strategy for our brand deals.
- Maintain the rate card, pricing inputs and indicative retainers, and set the assumptions the wider team plans against.
Analyse, model and support approvals:
- You will keep pricing decisions grounded in the numbers.
- Run scenario, seasonal-uplift and margin analysis to test and improve deal shape.
- Support sign-off with clear spend-to-GMV and spend-to-CM1 metrics, flagging risks early.
Who you are:
- An RGM, commercial finance or NAM background, strong with modelling and unit economics.
- Able to turn market, internal and platform data into forecasts others can trust, and move from a P&L to a bundling or product recommendation.
- Analytical and structured, happy owning the numbers end to end. This is not a sales role.
- 3-5 years in revenue growth management, commercial finance, or a National Account Manager role.
- Advanced modelling and Excel skills, with a strong grasp of unit economics, margin and P&L construction.
- Proven experience building commercial forecasts from multiple data sources, and explaining them clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
