Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Commercial Supply Constraint Manager to join a leading organization in the supply chain and procurement sector. This is an exciting 12-month fixed-term contract role supporting a key business priority process, based at Stockley Park, covering maternity leave.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing supply chain constraints, ensuring production and quality targets are met, and building effective relationships with internal stakeholders across various teams.

This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment where analytical skills, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management are critical. The position reports directly into a senior manager and requires a proactive individual with supply chain or planning experience, with a focus on supply chain problem-solving and risk mitigation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Commercial Supply Constraint Manager will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Support the business priority process by identifying, managing, and resolving supply chain constraints to ensure production continuity.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to escalate and resolve issues related to supply and demand imbalances.
  • Utilize data analytics, primarily Excel and SAP ERP, to monitor supply chain performance and identify potential risks.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across supply chain, planning, quality, and production departments to facilitate swift issue resolution.
  • As the Supply Constraint Manager, you will manage daily activities efficiently, prioritizing urgent supply needs and supporting risk mitigation strategies.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Commercial Supply Constraint Manager, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • A Degree or higher level in supply chain management, logistics, planning, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, or a similar fast-paced environment, with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work on-site five days per week at Stockley Park; hybrid or remote requests will not be considered.
