- Working with the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the wider Commercial team. A varied role, no one day will be the same.
- Understanding the needs and requirements of the business, you will provide support to the team through managing distribution and supplier queries, administering the relationship with our Suppliers across both drinks and consumables, stepping in to support on technical services and machines when required.
- Not content with the status quo, you’ll be comfortable delving into processes, streamlining them and making them more effective so that they deliver outputs that enable us to make informed decisions that make the difference. You will be the key stakeholder across our vast array of suppliers.
- As an all-rounder, you’ll look to build your knowledge on all functions that sit within the Commercial team, utilising the strength of your supplier relationships to support Distribution and Machines on setting up outlets through the transfer and acquisition program. Ensure that we communicate effectively on what we do, why we’re doing it, working with stakeholders throughout any decision making so that the journey is shared together.
- With an active role in purchasing, distribution, technical services, and machines, the decisions you make will help shape the offer of L&T publicans and for our Management Partnerships concepts. You’ll naturally be an organiser and communicator at heart, comfortable using Excel and data to support an effective supply chain network.
- You’ll work alongside the Technical Support Co-ordinator to understand this role so that you can cover annual leave, as well as picking up on support requests where required.

Accountabilities
- Manage distribution queries, including escalations, and support the setup and smooth integration of new products into the supply chain.
- Administer relationships between Punch and suppliers across drinks and consumables, challenging appropriately to ensure actions, listings and administration remain on track.
- Work with the Machines team to coordinate machine installations and support Technical Services during busy periods and periods of annual leave.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Gaming team, including setting up new sites and processing changes accurately within Gaming Analytics.
- Work with machine suppliers to manage collection exceptions, maintain accurate stock information and resolve outstanding issues.
- Produce accurate periodic Gaming reports using Excel, identifying data errors, exceptions and areas requiring action.
- Support Operations and Area Directors with Gaming queries, taking ownership of issues through to resolution and minimising disruption to pubs.
- Process permit requests from local authorities, ensuring these are communicated promptly to the appropriate machine supplier.
- Set up outlets to support the transfer and acquisition programme.
- Communicate effectively and promptly with Publicans and internal stakeholders regarding changes to deliveries, machines and seasonal distribution programmes.
- Identify opportunities to introduce new or improved processes that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within Gaming Analytics and a consistently high standard of accuracy across reporting and site information.
- Invest time in ensuring compliance with the Pubs Code and relevant internal processes.
- Take ownership of queries and responsibilities, following them through to completion.
- Proactively develop knowledge and understanding of the different functions within the Commercial team.
