Commercial Surveyor / Commercial Agent
Location: Surrey
Package: £40,000 - £50,000
Beach Baker is delighted to be instructed on an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Surveyor / Commercial Agent to join a well-established and growing property consultancy operating across Surrey and the South East.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual already working within commercial property who is either working towards their APC, recently qualified, or looking to broaden their experience within a hands-on agency environment. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a diverse range of commercial property instructions and work closely with a varied client base across the region.
About the Role
This position offers a broad mix of commercial agency work across industrial, office, retail, investment, and development property.
- Involved in the full transactional process, advising clients on disposals, acquisitions, and lettings
- Supporting the delivery of professional and strategic property advice
- Excellent exposure to clients, properties, and deal-making activity
- Opportunity to develop your skillset across multiple sectors rather than specializing too early
You will work closely with clients, occupiers, investors, developers, and professional advisors while contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.

What You'll Be Doing
- Advising clients on the acquisition, disposal, and letting of commercial property
- Undertaking property inspections and viewings
- Preparing market appraisals and marketing recommendations
- Managing agency instructions from commencement through to completion
- Negotiating heads of terms and progressing transactions
- Producing client reports and market commentary
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Conducting market research and analyzing local market trends
- Working across industrial, office, retail, investment, and development property sectors

What They're Looking For
- Experience within commercial property, ideally within an agency environment
- MRICS qualified, recently qualified, or currently working towards qualification
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Professional and client-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple instructions and priorities effectively
- Strong organizational and reporting skills
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and commercially minded individual
- Genuine interest in developing a long-term career within commercial property
