Due to continued growth and an exceptionally strong pipeline of work, the firm is now seeking an ambitious Commercial Technology Solicitor to join its thriving team in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious commercially minded lawyer, looking to take the next step in their career, with the chance to work on high-quality matters, develop strong client relationships and play a key role in the continued growth of a highly regarded commercial practice.

The opportunity

You will join a well-established and highly regarded commercial team, advising on a broad range of complex and cutting-edge commercial and technology matters, including strategic projects that are critical to clients' businesses.

The role will offer significant client exposure and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in high-profile transactions and advisory projects. There may also be opportunities to undertake in-house secondments with key clients, providing valuable first-hand insight into the commercial realities and challenges facing modern businesses.

Your work will cover the full spectrum of commercial and technology arrangements, including:

  • Complex outsourcing projects and business-critical supply agreements
  • Digital transformation programmes
  • Technology implementations
  • Data-driven projects and innovative commercial arrangements
  • Technology and commercial contracting
  • Strategic commercial advisory work

About you

  • Ideally 3-9 years’ PQE gained within a respected commercial or technology practice
  • Strong experience advising on commercial contracts, technology and contract law
  • Excellent technical ability, with detailed knowledge of a broad range of commercial and technology agreements
  • Strong drafting skills and a highly commercial approach to legal advice
  • The ability to manage client relationships and take ownership of matters
  • Supervisory and mentoring capabilities, with a genuine interest in developing junior team members
  • A proactive and commercial approach to client service and business development
