Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor - LCV & HGV
Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £31,000 basic
OTE: Up to £34,000 including bonus
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 44.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday rotating shifts, plus alternate Saturday mornings

ISQ Recruitment is looking for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor to join a busy automotive parts operation in Bicester.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in HGV, LCV, truck, van, or automotive parts who enjoys working in a fast-paced aftersales environment. You'll play an important part in keeping the workshop moving, making sure technicians and customers have the correct parts when they need them.
You'll be joining an established commercial vehicle business offering manufacturer training, a strong benefits package, and the opportunity to continue developing your career within automotive aftersales.
The Role
Working as part of the Parts Department, you'll support both workshop operations and external customers, handling everything from parts identification and ordering through to stock enquiries and order progression.
You'll work closely with HGV and LCV Technicians, Service Advisors, and workshop teams, helping minimise vehicle downtime and ensuring parts requirements are dealt with accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and supply the correct parts for HGV and LCV repairs and maintenance
- Process parts enquiries and orders accurately
- Source and order components where required
- Provide parts support to workshop technicians
- Track outstanding orders and keep relevant teams informed
- Assist trade and retail customers both face-to-face and over the telephone
- Maintain accurate parts and stock records
- Work closely with the Service and Workshop departments to support vehicle turnaround
- Provide a professional and helpful service to internal and external customers
- Follow departmental procedures and health and safety requirements
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Person, or Parts Assistant within the motor trade
- Commercial vehicle, HGV, LCV, truck, or van parts experience would be particularly advantageous
- Good knowledge of automotive parts and components
- Confident communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working with parts catalogues and computer-based systems
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to manage several enquiries and priorities at once
- A practical, team-focused approach
- Someone looking to build a long-term career within automotive parts and aftersales

Working Hours
- 44.5 hours per week, averaged across the year.
- Monday To Friday On a Rotating Shift Pattern
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
- You will also work alternate Saturdays from 8:00am - 12:00pm.
