Commercial Waste Manager
Manchester / Liverpool
£85,000 - £90,000 + 5k Car Allowance + Benefits
Please note: Candidates local to either Manchester or Liverpool can be considered for this role
Position available for a Commercial Waste Manager looking for an autonomous role offering excellent growth and development prospects.
This is a great chance to join the senior leadership team of an established heavy engineering specialist going through significant growth, as you oversee their waste management streams for 10 sites, totalling 150,000+ tonnes per year.
You may be working internally for a company already or working for a waste management company and looking to make a move in-house. Either profile can be considered.
Ideally will have experience of waste classification, treatment / disposal routes and waste transportation. You will understand WM3 and have strong negotiation & commercial skills.

The company turnover £500m plus per annum and have operations spanning the UK, with further acquisitions on the horizon. Due to an upcoming retirement, we are seeking a Commercial Waste Manager to join the business on a full time & permanent basis.
In this role you will take responsibility for establishing the most commercially viable recycling, recovery, treatment and disposal routes. You will be responsible for all commercial negotiation with full budgetary control, ensuring all waste movements remain commercially viable and environmentally compliant.

Person:
