Commercial / Construction Solicitor | 5-Month FTC | London

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial or Construction Solicitor to join a leading organisation and provide legal support across a range of strategically important construction, infrastructure and commercial projects.

Location: Farringdon, London

Working pattern: 2 days per week in the office

Duration: 5-month Fixed-Term Contract

What we’re looking for

  • UK-qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate
  • Strong experience across construction and/or commercial contracts
  • Proven ability to draft, review and negotiate complex commercial and construction agreements
  • NEC / NEC4 experience is highly desirable
  • Experience with IT contracts, professional services, supply and service agreements would be advantageous
  • Exposure to utilities, infrastructure, energy or public procurement is desirable
  • Experience advising on contract interpretation and disputes
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice
  • Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence advising senior managers and directors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • In-house experience preferred, but not essential
