Commercial Accountant, PE Backed Financial Services, London, up to £65k + bonus
Newly qualified ACA and looking to build your commercial finance experience?
Cedar is partnering with a part of an acquisitive, PE backed, global group, to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst. Backed by leading institutional investors, this business provides an entrepreneurial setting with international scale.
This is a broad role combining financial control, FP&A and commercial analysis. You'll strengthen your accounting foundations while gaining exposure to business performance, senior leadership reporting and acquisition integration.

What you'll be doing
- Supporting month-end, journals and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating variances and strengthening financial controls.
- Business Partnering with divisional Managing Directors
- Contributing to budgets, forecasts and longer-term financial planning.
- Analysing revenue, EBITDA and working capital to identify risks, opportunities and the drivers behind performance.
- Building financial models and producing clear management reporting and commentary for senior leadership.
- Supporting acquisition accounting, opening balance sheet reviews and finance integration where required.
- Improving reporting, processes and the quality of financial insight across the business.

What you'll bring
- Newly qualified ACA from a top 10 practice firm
- Confident Excel skills and the ability to turn financial data into clear, useful analysis.
- Curiosity, initiative and the confidence to question how things are done.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines in an evolving business.
