The Role
To fully understand and perform your job accountabilities and personal competencies as described below, working with your team to deliver Crimson Hotels standards.
- Assisting in the food preparation process.
- Cooking and preparing elements of high-quality dishes.
- Preparing vegetables, meat and fish.
- Assisting other Chefs.
- Helping with deliveries and restocking.
- Assisting with stock rotation and cleaning stations.
- Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
Basic knowledge of all sections.
- Ability to work under supervision of a limited range.
- Ability to produce good quality basic food.
- Understanding of health and safety.
- Understanding of basic food hygiene practices.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Always adheres to the luxury lifestyle standards within the kitchen area and delivering service.
- Demonstrates flexibility to carry out tasks in various sections of kitchen as well as shifts.
- Ensures that food from own station is delivered on time; asks for help if needed.
- Follows proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Ensures readiness at all times.
