Job Description
Location: 10 Paradise Walk
Join the vibrant culinary team at Hilton Templepatrick. As a Commis Chef, you will play a crucial role in the heart of our kitchen, contributing to the seamless preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. We are seeking a passionate individual eager to master culinary techniques and support a dynamic team in delivering memorable meals to our valued guests.
About The Role
- Prepare, cook and present food, quickly and efficiently, meeting company standards.
- Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic, and tidy, at all times.
- Work safely around kitchen equipment and monitor and deal with any maintenance issues.
- Manage food wastage through correct procedures.
- Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training.
- Always adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Be involved and contribute at team meetings.
- Carry out instructions given by the management team.

Required Criteria
- 6 months experience as a commis chef in a busy restaurant
- Food hygiene certificate
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day week
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to converse in English
Desired Criteria
- NVQ level 2 in food prep
- Basic food hygiene certificate
