Commis Chef – Restaurant Sin Fin (Defence Site)
Location: Derby
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (6:30am – 3:00pm)
Pay: £14.45 per hour
Could you bring your spark to Defence? Join our friendly and dedicated kitchen team at Restaurant Sin Fin, part of the Compass Group UK&I family. We’re a busy restaurant serving over 600 guests per day, and we’re looking for a Commis Chef who’s ready to learn, grow, and make a real impact.
What’s In It For You
- Full-time, steady hours — Monday to Friday, no weekends!
- Breakfast service: 7:00–10:00
- Lunch service: 12:00–14:00

Your Key Responsibilities
- Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
- Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
- Assisting with general kitchen duties as directed by senior chefs
- Maintaining Food Handling & Hygiene and Health & Safety standards
- Representing Compass Group UK&I and Restaurant Sin Fin with pride and professionalism
