We are looking for a hardworking Commis Chef Apprentice to join the Guisborough Hall Team
As Commis Chef, you will work alongside experienced senior chefs, on each of the different sections of the kitchen. The role will suit a hardworking individual, eager to gain experience and development in a busy, award-winning kitchen.
What you'll do at work
- To contribute to the production of high-quality dishes
- To ensure all dishes are prepared to the desired standard in a timely manner
- To ensure excellent food hygiene practice is observed and maintained, from preparation through to service
- Avoid unnecessary food wastage by following correct kitchen procedures / protocols
- To follow all COSHH guidelines to ensure the safe running of the kitchen
- To undergo relevant training to aid continuous development in the role

Training course: Commis chef (level 2)
Wage:
- £16,640 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age
- National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices
Hours:
- Monday- Sunday, shifts to be confirmed, 40 hours per week, 28 days holiday. 40 hours a week
