Seeking a Motivated Commis Chef to Join Our Kitchen Team
This role is ideal for a passionate cook who wants the opportunity to grow. You will work alongside our Head Chef to learn all aspects of running a pub kitchen. Once you have gained sufficient experience, you will be given the opportunity to lead, organise, and direct the kitchen.
What You'll Do at Work
- Assisting the Head Chef with daily food preparation and learning fundamental cooking techniques during busy pub services.
- Maintaining strict food hygiene standards, which includes keeping the kitchen clean and completing end-of-shift deep cleaning.
- Receiving ingredient deliveries, ensuring correct stock rotation, and setting up your station ready for service.

Training Course: Commis Chef (Level 2)
Essential Qualifications
- GCSE in:
- English (grade 3/D)
- Maths (grade 3/D)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

About This Employer
We are a successful, traditional English pub with a team of 20 people. We serve classic pub dishes alongside pizzas made in our dedicated wood-fired oven, and we host special events, buffets, live music, and traditional Sunday roasts.
