We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Commis Chef to join the team at a brand-new Eurest operation within Amazon in Kettering. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a professional, fast-paced kitchen environment.

About The Role

As a Commis Chef, you will support the kitchen team in preparing and delivering fresh, high-quality food while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, safety, and presentation. Working alongside experienced chefs, you'll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and build your career within a leading food service business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation and basic cooking duties.
  • Support chefs during service to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Prepare ingredients and maintain stock levels within your work area.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Adhere to food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures.
  • Assist with receiving deliveries and storing products correctly.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver an excellent dining experience.

What We're Looking For

  • A passion for food and a desire to develop culinary skills.
  • Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of food hygiene principles is desirable.
