Location: Cirencester, GL7 6JS
Salary: £22,768 per annum
Vacancy Type: Full time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a rota
Are you passionate about food and keen to develop your skills in a professional kitchen?
The Royal Agricultural University is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Commis Chef to join our friendly Catering team. You will work alongside our senior chefs to prepare and serve high quality food for students, staff, visitors and University events.
This is a great opportunity for someone starting their catering career or looking to build on existing kitchen experience. You will gain practical experience across food preparation, cooking, presentation, food safety and kitchen operations.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about cooking, works well as part of a team and takes pride in maintaining high standards. A culinary qualification or kitchen experience would be an advantage, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are equally important.
You will need to work flexibly as part of a rota and be able to lift stock items weighing up to twenty-five kilograms.
