Join White Rabbit Hospitality as Commis Chef | Graduate Cambridge | OTE £14.20 per hour

Every great chef started somewhere. Make yours count.

Graduate Cambridge sits on the banks of the River Cam, one of the most beautiful settings in the city and home to a kitchen that takes its food seriously. As Commis Chef, you'll be learning from experienced chefs, building real technical skills shift by shift, and becoming part of a team that genuinely cares about what leaves the pass.

White Rabbit Hospitality is a fast growing, multi brand hospitality group with a vision to be the world's leading hospitality incubator. Graduate Cambridge sits alongside Rusacks St Andrews, The Randolph Oxford and Ember Locke Kensington in our portfolio. For a commis chef ready to commit and grow, there's no better place to start building a career worth having.

This isn't a role where you'll be left to figure it out alone. You'll be supported, stretched and developed by chefs who want to see you succeed, working across breakfast, lunch, dinner and events in a kitchen with proper standards. We're looking for hunger: for food, for knowledge, and for the craft of cooking done properly.

Everything we do is grounded in four values: Hospitality is at our core, We do the right thing, We pursue excellence, and We are all entrepreneurs. These aren't wall art, they're how we work every single day.

OUR VALUES, IN EVERY SERVICE

HOSPITALITY IS AT OUR CORE: You're at the start of your journey, but you already understand that food is about people. Every dish you help create ends up in front of a guest, and that matters.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
