POSITION: Commis Waiter / Waitress

COMPENSATION: 13.00 - 14.00 per hour (DOE)
LOCATION: James Court, Soho, London

One of London’s favourite premium casual restaurant destinations
150-cover restaurant with 80 covers inside, 10 at the bar and 60 covers in the outdoor courtyard
Australian hospitality is professional, knowledgeable and passionate, but also engaging, friendly and fun
Seasonal a la carte lunch/dinner menu showcasing modern Australian cuisine - coastal, barbecue, with southeast Asian and Mediterranean influences. We also have a daily breakfast service

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Commis Waiter/ess to deliver exceptional, prompt service and create memorable guest experiences.
The Commis Waiter/ess is a vital service support role, helping to ensure a smooth and seamless experience at Milk Beach. Their contribution throughout service is essential to creating memorable guest experiences and maintaining strong team cohesion. Running food, delivering drinks and polishing glassware are all important responsibilities that enable the wider team to deliver on our mantra: Improving Every Guest’s Day.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Provide efficient, courteous and guest-focused service.
  • Complete all site-specific set-up, service and closing duties.
  • Ensure the working area and station are fully stocked with mise en place and kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the food menu and specifications to confidently advise guests.
  • Deliver food promptly and efficiently.
  • Understand table numbers and positioning to ensure food is presented correctly in line with the Milk Beach sequence of service.
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements and promote a safe working environment.
  • Maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, uniform, appearance, body language and professional conduct.
