Commission-Only Sales Executive – Web Design & Digital Marketing

Fictive Digital

Remote | UK

Self-Employed / Commission Only

About Fictive Digital

Fictive Digital is a UK-based digital agency helping businesses grow through high-quality websites, SEO, PPC and digital marketing.

We work with businesses of all sizes, from startups and independent companies through to established organisations, providing digital solutions designed around their individual goals.

We're now looking for an experienced Commission-Only Sales Executive to help us bring new clients into the agency.

The Role

This is a remote, commission-only sales position with significant earning potential for someone who already understands the digital agency space.

You'll be responsible for identifying potential clients, starting conversations, understanding their requirements and converting opportunities into new business for Fictive Digital.

We're particularly interested in people who have previously sold:

  • Website design & development
  • SEO services
  • PPC / paid advertising
  • Digital marketing services
  • Website maintenance or ongoing digital retainers

You'll have the freedom to manage your own sales process and pipeline rather than working from a rigid script or call centre environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Commission

We want the commission structure to properly reward people who bring business into the agency.

You'll receive:

  • 20% commission on the initial project value
  • PLUS
  • 80% of the client's first month's ongoing service fee for any maintenance or ongoing package sold alongside the project.

For example:

  • £5,000 website project
    • 20% commission = £1,000
  • £195/month maintenance package
    • 80% of the first month = £156

Total commission from that client: £1,156

There is no cap on commission. The more business you bring in, the more you earn. The ongoing service commission applies to the first month only and is not a recurring monthly commission.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who already understands how digital services are sold.

Ideally, you'll have previous experience selling websites, SEO, PPC or digital marketing services to businesses.

You should be comfortable speaking with decision-makers across different company sizes and be able to understand a client's requirements rather than simply reading from a sales script.

Experience working for or selling on behalf of a web design, SEO, marketing or digital agency would be a major advantage.
