The Council of International Chambers of Commerce (CICC) is a global platform designed to foster communication, collaboration, and business opportunities among organizations and professionals worldwide. Leveraging an international network of corporate members, investors, and trade organizations, CICC supports cross-border initiatives and strategic partnerships. Through direct links to governments and country representatives, CICC helps drive economic development, investment promotion, and international trade, with particular attention to underdeveloped markets. Its activities include tailored trade missions, international business conferences, sector-focused business rounds, and customized events that respond to member needs. CICC is also expanding international headquarters to strengthen on-the-ground connectivity between public and private institutions across member countries.
Role Description
The Commission Sales Associate is a full-time, remote role focused on identifying, engaging, and onboarding new members, partners, and sponsors for CICC’s international network. This role includes prospecting businesses and professionals across regions, conducting outreach via calls, emails, and digital platforms, and presenting CICC’s services, membership options, and events. The associate will manage a pipeline of leads, schedule and conduct online meetings, and support negotiations to close commission-based sales. They will collaborate with internal teams to align sales activities with trade missions, conferences, and international projects, and maintain accurate records of contacts, proposals, and agreements. Ongoing responsibilities include meeting sales targets, providing feedback from the market, and helping strengthen CICC’s global presence.

- Candidates should possess skills in outbound and inbound sales, negotiation, and closing deals in a commission-based environment.
- Candidates should possess skills in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and building long-term partnerships across cultures.
- Candidates should possess skills in business development, lead generation, and identifying opportunities in international trade and investment.
- Candidates should possess skills in written and verbal communication, presentation, and professional correspondence in English.
- Candidates should possess skills in using CRM tools, online meeting platforms, and standard office software to manage pipelines and reporting.
- Prior experience in international business, trade organizations, chambers of commerce, or investment promotion is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet defined performance targets is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is preferred.
