Role Description

The Commission Sales Associate is a contract role based in Manchester with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site client engagement with some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the associate identifies and qualifies new business opportunities, builds and maintains relationships with customers, and promotes L.I.T. Group’s logistics and personnel service solutions. Daily tasks include:

The associate collaborates with internal operations and account management teams to ensure accurate service proposals, smooth onboarding of new clients, and consistent customer satisfaction. Regular reporting on sales activities, market trends, and performance results is required to support business growth and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, including experience in prospecting, lead generation, and closing commission-based deals.
  • Customer relationship management abilities, with skill in building long-term partnerships, handling objections, and providing solution-focused support.
  • Business communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, confident presentation abilities, and professional email and phone etiquette.
  • Basic understanding of logistics, supply chain, or related service industries, with the ability to learn and explain L.I.T. Group’s offerings to potential clients.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation tools) to track activities and prepare proposals.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and manage time effectively.
  • Prior experience in sales, business development, or account management is highly beneficial; experience in logistics or staffing services is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in business, marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
