Job Description: Commission Team Advisor
Location: Bupa Place (Salford Quays, M50 3SP)
Type: Fixed Term Contract (FTC) until end of June 2027
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid working (up to 2 days per week in the office)
Salary: from £27,100 per annum

About the Role
As a Commission Team Advisor, you'll play an important role in making health happen. You'll help deliver accurate and timely commission payments, support strong financial controls, and work with colleagues across the business to resolve queries and improve processes. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives that help make our services even better.
How You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen
As our Commission Team Advisor, you'll:
- Support the day-to-day delivery of commission processes, including broker payment cycles.
- Make sure commission activities are completed accurately and in line with agreed controls and deadlines.
- Act as a key contact for commission-related queries, providing clear updates and helping to resolve issues.
- Support reporting, control checks and variance analysis, identifying trends and helping prevent recurring issues.
- Look for opportunities to simplify processes, improve data quality and reduce manual activity.
- Monitor automated commission processes and manage any exceptions that arise.
- Support the investigation and resolution of commission-related incidents and escalations.
- Manage your workload effectively while supporting wider team objectives.
- Contribute to projects and improvement initiatives across Finance Operations.
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders across the business.

Key Skills/Qualifications Required for This Role
We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and passionate about delivering great outcomes.
- Experience:
- Experience working in payments, reconciliations or a similar finance environment is required
- Previous experience using swift and knowledge of the system is needed
- Experience of commissions processes would be beneficial, although this isn't essential.
- Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate issues and recommend practical solutions.
- A commitment to delivering customer-focused outcomes while demonstrating Bupa's values.
