Job Description:
Role Overview
As a Commissioning Manager (Polish Speaker), you will lead the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, ensuring a safe and successful transition from construction to operation. You will coordinate testing, manage commissioning schedules, work closely with customers, contractors, and local authorities, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. This role requires a fluent Polish speaker to effectively support projects and stakeholders across Poland.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on field work, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is comfortable taking ownership while solving problems independently. Training is primarily provided through practical, on-the-job experience.
This is a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the renewable energy transition while working on cutting-edge battery storage projects across Europe. The role offers significant autonomy, ownership, and decision-making responsibility, combined with the opportunity to travel, work with diverse teams and customers, and gain exposure to a wide range of complex projects. It is well suited to individuals who prefer practical, technical work in the field over a traditional desk-based role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
