📍 Cardiff, Wales | 🏗️ Data Centre Project | ⚡ Electrical Bias

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Manager (CXM) to join a major data centre project in Cardiff.

This is a hands-on commissioning leadership role for someone who knows their way around critical electrical infrastructure, energisation and commissioning — and can keep a project moving when the pressure is on.

SAP experience is highly preferable.

🔧 What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage electrical commissioning activities from pre-commissioning through to handover.
  • Manage commissioning activities across L1–L5.
  • Plan and coordinate electrical commissioning programmes, test schedules and resources.
  • Lead and coordinate commissioning engineers, subcontractors and specialist vendors.
  • Oversee testing and commissioning of HV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators and associated critical power systems.
  • Review and approve commissioning procedures, test scripts, method statements and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate energisation activities, ensuring all prerequisites and safety requirements are met.
  • Work closely with SAPs, electrical contractors, project teams and client representatives.
  • Identify, manage and close out commissioning issues, defects and technical risks.
  • Chair commissioning meetings and provide regular progress updates.
  • Support Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and final client acceptance.
  • Ensure commissioning documentation is completed accurately and ready for handover.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
