Commissioning Manager — Permanent

Boutique Agency | UK & Europe | Remote/Flexible UK Location

We’re working with a boutique agency with big growth plans to appoint an experienced Commissioning Manager on a permanent basis.

With a growing pipeline of work across the UK and Europe, this is an opportunity for a genuine commissioning professional to join an ambitious business at an exciting stage of its development.

The Role

We’re looking for a bona fide commissioning specialist — someone who understands the commissioning process inside out and has a proven track record of managing commissions from brief through to delivery.

You’ll be responsible for taking ownership of commissioning activity across a range of projects, working with stakeholders, suppliers, contributors, and internal teams to ensure every commission is well planned, efficiently managed, and delivered to the required standard.

This is not a general project management role with some commissioning responsibilities attached. Commissioning is the core of the role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We’re not looking for someone who has simply worked alongside commissioning. You should be able to demonstrate genuine, hands-on commissioning expertise and understand what good commissioning looks like at every stage.

Why Join?

You’ll be joining a boutique business with serious growth ambitions, rather than a large corporate environment where you can become one of many.

The agency already has a strong pipeline across the UK and Europe, with further growth planned. You’ll have the opportunity to take real ownership, work closely with senior stakeholders, and play an important role as the business scales.

The role is permanent and can be based anywhere in the UK.

If you’re an experienced commissioning professional looking for a role where your expertise will be genuinely valued — and where you can help shape a growing business — we’d like to hear from you.
