Commissioning Manager - Data Centre
Location: Slough, UK
Employment Type: Contract/ Freelance
Sector: Data Centres / Mission Critical
I am seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to support the delivery of a major data centre project in Slough. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing commissioning activities across mechanical, electrical, and associated systems through to successful handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all commissioning activities on site.
- Coordinate commissioning teams, subcontractors, and specialist vendors.
- Ensure systems are commissioned safely and in line with project requirements.
- Review commissioning plans, procedures, and test documentation.
- Lead system testing, integrated systems testing, and client witness testing.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and drive commissioning milestones.
- Ensure all commissioning records and handover documentation are completed.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager on data centre, mission critical, or large-scale MEP projects.
- Strong mechanical and electrical commissioning knowledge.
- Experience managing commissioning programmes through to handover.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
