Commissioning Manager – Data Centres (Spanish Speaking)
Location: London-based with travel across the UK
Salary: Up to £100,000 + Benefits
Sector: Data Centres / Mission Critical
Language: Spanish & English
We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to join a growing team delivering major data centre projects across the UK.
Based from London, you will take responsibility for coordinating and managing commissioning activities across multiple projects, working closely with project teams, specialist subcontractors, vendors and clients to ensure systems are successfully tested, commissioned and handed over.
Fluent Spanish and English are required for this position due to regular interaction with Spanish-speaking stakeholders and delivery teams.
The Role
As Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing commissioning activities across UK data centre projects
- Developing and implementing commissioning plans, programmes and procedures
- Coordinating MEP commissioning activities across mechanical and electrical systems
- Managing specialist commissioning contractors, vendors and suppliers
- Overseeing testing, witnessing and validation of critical systems
- Managing commissioning documentation, test scripts and progress reporting
- Coordinating commissioning activities with construction and project programmes
- Identifying commissioning risks, constraints and potential programme impacts
- Managing snagging, defects and close-out activities
- Supporting integrated systems testing and final handover
- Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams
- Ensuring commissioning is completed safely and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards

What We're Looking For
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Commissioning Manager, Commissioning Lead or Senior Commissioning Engineer
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems
- Experience delivering commissioning on large-scale construction projects
- Previous data centre or mission-critical experience strongly preferred
- Good understanding of commissioning sequencing and the relationship between construction, energisation, testing and handover
- Experience coordinating multiple specialist contractors and vendors
- Strong technical, organisational and communication skills
- Fluent Spanish and English
- Flexibility to travel to projects throughout the UK
