Join Our Offshore Execution Team

Are you a technically skilled problem-solver with an interest in renewable energy? Join our Offshore Execution team and play a key role in supporting the commissioning and performance of wind farms across exciting offshore projects. In this highly collaborative position, you'll work alongside Site Managers, Commissioning Supervisors, and technical experts to improve operational excellence, resolve complex challenges, and contribute to the timely delivery of world-class wind energy projects.

The Customer Project Execution (CPX) Department is responsible for delivering wind farm construction projects from inception through to completion. Within CPX, the Offshore Installation & Commissioning > Offshore Execution team oversees the operational execution of offshore work packages, maintaining responsibility until final testing and handover are completed. The team works closely with project teams, marine and aviation specialists, logistics providers, and procurement and finance functions to ensure safe, high-quality project delivery on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary on-site technical support specialist, coordinating solutions and acting as the key liaison between construction sites and back-office teams
  • Ensure that critical project information, updates, and feedback are effectively communicated to all site team members
  • Support Lead Site Managers with daily planning activities, operational coordination, and problem-solving
  • Provide technical guidance and support to Commissioning Supervisors both onshore and offshore, working closely with the wider Construction team
  • Track and evaluate wind turbine generator (WTG) performance, coordinate troubleshooting efforts, and assist with mechanical and electrical completion and commissioning tasks
  • Assist with project start-up activities, commissioning documentation packages, training content development, and competence assessments for Commissioning Supervisors
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance commissioning processes, team capabilities, safety, quality, and operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge in electrical and/or mechanical systems, combined with a solid understanding of commissioning, operational and construction processes
  • Experience monitoring, analysing, and resolving technical issues in a wind farm or similar industrial environment
  • Proficiency in Vestas Online Toolkit (VOT) and other internal systems used to support commissioning and troubleshooting activities
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking
  • Skilled in using SharePoint and OneNote for documentation management, collaboration, and knowledge sharing

Additional Information

  • Primary work location: You can be a resident in either Denmark or UK
  • Expected number of worldwide travel days: 180 days per year
