Your Tasks

Are you an experienced Commissioning Supervisor looking for your next move?

Belectric UK is seeking a Commissioning Supervisor to join our growing commissioning team.

In this role, you’ll supervise and deliver the commissioning of all solar PV and battery energy storage projects.

This is your chance to make a meaningful impact within a forward-thinking, industry-leading renewable energy company.

If you're passionate about sustainability and want your work to help shape a better world — we want to hear from you!

Commissioning Delivery

  • Take ownership of all commissioning activities across Solar PV and BESS projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly and in line with project programmes from pre-energisation to final handover.
  • Coordinate commissioning teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders while maintaining commissioning documentation, managing risks, and supporting regulatory compliance and project handover requirements.

High Voltage Systems

  • Oversee the testing and commissioning of HV systems, including switchgear, transformers, protection schemes and associated plant, ensuring protection settings, functional testing and all energisation activities comply with relevant standards, grid requirements and project specifications.

Low Voltage & Transformer Stations

  • Supervise the commissioning of transformer stations, distribution boards and associated LV systems, verifying protection discrimination, cabling and termination integrity to ensure safe and compliant operation.

Battery Energy Storage Systems

  • Commission and verify BESS and power conversion systems, including PCS, DC/DC converters, battery integration, EMS/SCADA interfaces, grid connectivity, functional testing and battery conditioning activities where required.
  • Verify and test earthing and bonding systems, including EPR assessments, earth resistance and touch/step potential testing, ensuring compliance with project requirements, DNO standards and statutory regulations.

Solar PV

  • Supervise and verify PV system commissioning activities, including string and module testing, inverter commissioning, system integration, and the investigation and resolution of performance or fault issues.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and single-line diagrams (SLDs), identifying and managing discrepancies between design documentation and as-built installations through effective technical query resolution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
