Commissioning Support Officer (3 posts) | 10865 | fixed term contracts/secondment opportunities for two years | 37 hours per week | £32,061 to £33,699 per annum | Grade G | Countywide

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for three Commissioning Support Officers to join Norfolk County Council’s Adult Social Services team.

Working closely with Commissioning Managers, you will provide vital project support, information management, and data analysis that directly influences service development and decision-making.

About the Team

Adult Social Care in Norfolk commissions services supporting over £500 million of provision each year. The system includes multiple partners, including NHS Norfolk and Suffolk Integrated Care Board, District Councils, acute hospitals, and community health providers, with a strong focus on integration and innovation.

You will play a key role in supporting this landscape, ensuring commissioning activity is well-coordinated, evidence-based, and responsive to growing demand and changing needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support commissioning programmes and projects under the direction of the Commissioning Lead
  • Contribute to commissioning plans and service specifications aligned to local and national priorities
  • Maintain effective administrative and information management systems
  • Analyse data and produce reports to monitor service performance and value for money
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the system
  • Support the coordination and delivery of commissioning activity

About You

We are looking for an organised and proactive individual who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
