Role details
We currently have a vacancy for a Commissioning Unit Lead to join our Employment and Skills team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Employment and Skills team, which aims to improve the impact that funding has on the lives and prospects of West Yorkshire residents and the economy. The team does this through:
- System leadership
- Policy development
- Partnership development
- Strategic commissioning

This new role will work across all employment and skills functions, developing commissioning strategies to deliver devolved employment and skills services in West Yorkshire, ensuring they deliver value for money and improve outcomes for individuals, communities, and business.
You will be a visible leader on a national platform, shaping future regional delivery and improving the social value outcomes from our procured services.
