Join the Close Brothers Central Operations Team where you will oversee the internal commissions function for Close Brothers Asset Finance & Leasing, with principal responsibility for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of monthly commission payments and annual bonuses for a sales team of 150 members.

Working as part of the Operational Governance team our ideal team member will have previous experience in sales compensation, ideally within a regulatory environment with excellent numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commission plans and structures to align with company goals and objectives
  • Perform accurate commission calculations, and process payments promptly
  • Support the management of the commissions system and prioritise future development with Technology and Business stakeholders
  • Work with the finance and sales teams to resolve any commission-related discrepancies or issues
  • Prepare and present regular reports on commission payouts and performance metrics to senior management
  • Empower, nurture and engage team members in an inclusive culture through coaching, mentoring and team-development to increase the performance of the individual and the team
  • Work with the HR Business Partner to ensure that an effective performance review is put in place, including setting objectives, personal development planning and performance standards with all direct reports
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF HAVE/ARE:

  • An understanding of compensation plans, commissions structures and financial modelling
  • Hands on experience of working with an enterprise level commission system e.g. Varicent, Exactly
  • Advanced excel, and ideally Alteryx and Tableau knowledge
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations regarding commission payments
  • Adept at building relationships with colleagues at all levels, including c-suite
  • Able to juggle competing tasks from a matrix style leadership structure
  • Excellent problem solving & analytical skills
