Come and join us as a self‑motivated and purpose‑driven Committed Giving Administrator and be part of something life‑changing - helping people with sight loss live the life they choose.
As a Committed Giving Administrator at Guide Dogs, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of our Committed Giving products and supporter journeys through effective administration, coordination and engagement activities. Working across a variety of channels including social media, direct mail and email, you’ll help ensure an excellent supporter experience while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures. The Committed Giving Administrator will be an expert in administration, supporter engagement, CRM database management, record keeping and multi-channel campaign support. Our Committed Giving Administrators play a huge part in ensuring everything we do enables us to deliver on our purpose and exceed expectations.
This is a 9-month fixed-term contract position, working 21 hours per week on a hybrid basis. There is flexibility to work these hours across Monday to Friday, with the successful candidate required to attend the office one day per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out social media tasks on a daily basis including administering Sponsor a Puppy Facebook groups; responding to queries raised; and improving engagement across social media platforms.
- Fulfil lottery processes, including updating weekly winners on website; weekly compliance checks and monthly submissions for Gambling Commission.
- Support Committed Giving Retention Team with campaigns as required, including Pupdate visits and interviews, proofing, copywriting, and other administration duties.
- Facilitate stock procurement for Committed Giving products, accurately monitoring stock levels and responding to any stock-related queries.
- Manage day to day relationship with external fulfilment house, liaising with inhouse teams to resolve any queries/issues and facilitating fulfilment invoices in a timely manner.
- Work with Supporter Experience Team to resolve any queries/issues relating to Committed giving products including supporting with complaints.
- Keep on top of electronic filing and record management, including using a Customer Relation Management (CRM) database system.

You’ll have a proactive and organised approach to administration and supporter engagement. You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with a focus on delivering excellent supporter experiences and maintaining accurate records. You’ll be committed to quality, efficiency and making a positive difference. You’ll act with integrity and honesty in everything you do.
Skills and Competencies
- Educated to GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent (QCF level 2 / SQCF level 5).
- Proven experience of administration in a busy environment.
- Previous exposure to working in a busy environment, with a variety of tasks to deliver within Service Level Agreements.
- A demonstratable understanding of administrative systems.
- Good attention to detail, highly literate with strong creative skills.
- An excellent standard of grammar and spelling and ability to proofread and make corrections.
- Proficient use of Microsoft software including standard packages.
- Accurate data entry skills.
