About KGCN
Kent Global Commercial Network (KGCN) is a student-led society at the University of Kent focused on commercial awareness, employability, and practical careers experience. Over the past year, KGCN has delivered 12 events, welcomed over 660 attendees, and worked with organisations including Arsenal FC, A&O Shearman, BCLP, Barclays, White & Case, and Withers.
The role
KGCN Associates form the wider committee and work across projects rather than being restricted to one fixed function. Depending on your interests, you may help with:

Associates will work closely with the KGCN leadership team and can take ownership of projects that interest them.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for motivated University of Kent students who are proactive, collaborative, and interested in developing practical experience alongside their studies. Applications are open to students from all courses and year groups.

Time commitment
The expected commitment is around 4-6 hours per term, including committee meetings and events.
What you’ll gain
You’ll gain practical experience in project management, teamwork, commercial awareness, event delivery, and working with external organisations, while helping shape KGCN’s 2026/27 programme.
