Join One of the UK's Leading Independent Recycling Businesses

Recycling UK Limited is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Trader to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career with one of the largest independent traders and own depot processors of wastepaper and plastic in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Buying wastepaper, surplus or redundant packaging, and plastic materials from suppliers across the UK and Ireland
  • Developing and maintaining strong commercial relationships
  • Identifying new business opportunities and sources of recyclable materials
  • Negotiating prices and contracts
  • Monitoring market trends and material values
  • Working closely with operational and the management team to maximise trading opportunities
  • Representing Recycling UK Limited professionally within the recycling and waste management sector

About You

  • Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills
  • Confident communicator and relationship builder
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK and further afield at times

Experience in recycling, waste management, commodities, logistics, sales, or trading would be advantageous, but we are willing to consider candidates with the right attitude and ambition who are prepared to learn.

  • Full UK driving licence required
