Job Title: Communication & Education Support Manager UKI
Location: Home based with travel to offices in Derby and Dublin
Key duties and responsibilities:
Therapy Development Communications
- Strategy Development: Own and drive the communication strategies around therapy development within both the Experience Centre and external settings, ensuring alignment with Getinge’s overall goals and the specific needs of healthcare professionals, patients, and other key stakeholders.
- Content Creation: Develop and deliver compelling content for internal and external audiences, including therapy development updates and promotional materials tailored to highlight Getinge's innovative solutions and impact in healthcare.
- Customer Education: Design and implement educational campaigns and events to inform and educate healthcare professionals and customers about Getinge's solutions, clinical benefits, and product offerings.
- Collaboration with Clinical Teams: Work closely with internal therapy development teams to ensure communication around product and therapy initiatives are accurate, clear, and impactful.
- Performance & Insights: Define KPIs for therapy communications and educational initiatives, analysing engagement metrics and customer feedback to continuously optimise impact.
Event Planning
- Event Planning & Coordination: Lead the planning and execution of all internal UKI events and meetings and all external events focusing on customer education, including townhalls, and study days, including all aspects of event logistics, content development, speaker coordination, and post-event follow-up.
- Therapy-Specific Events: Organise events that focus on Getinge’s therapy innovations and developments, providing opportunities for healthcare professionals, internal teams, and external stakeholders to engage with new products, treatments, and clinical applications.
- Customer Engagement: Ensure therapy-related content and experiences in the Customer Experience Centre are tailored to customer needs, providing an interactive and engaging environment that highlights key therapies and innovations.
- Event Promotion: Promote internal and external events effectively across a variety of communication channels, ensuring maximum attendance and engagement with target audiences.
- Presentation & Video Content Creation: Manage and create all video content for internal events such as Town Halls and sales meetings.
Customer Experience & Engagement Strategy
- Therapy-Focused Experience Design: Collaborate with the Therapy Development team to develop engaging, educational experiences that resonate with visitors and communicate the value of Getinge's solutions.
- Content & Material Development: Ensure all marketing and educational materials at the Customer Experience Centre are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with Getinge’s messaging around therapy development and innovation.
- Engagement Strategies: Design and implement initiatives that foster deeper customer engagement, helping visitors understand how Getinge’s solutions can positively impact patient care and outcomes.
- Feedback Collection & Continuous Improvement: Collect and analyse feedback from customers visiting the Customer Experience Centre to refine and improve the overall experience, ensuring it aligns with both customer expectations and company objectives.
- Presentation & Video Content Creation: Manage and create video content for customer educational events and meetings

Internal Communications
- Act as a strategic communications partner to the UKI Senior Leadership Team, advising on internal messaging, employee engagement and change communications.
- Brand Messaging & Consistency: Ensure all internal communications, including updates, events, and employee initiatives, are consistent with Getinge’s brand voice and messaging. Maintain clarity and alignment with company values, ensuring that messages resonate with employees across different departments.
- Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and execute communication strategies and comms that keep internal stakeholders informed and engaged. This includes the dissemination of key company updates, therapy development initiatives, and important business milestones to ensure transparency and foster alignment across teams.
- Develop structured internal communication plans that support organisational priorities, transformation initiatives and culture.
- Employee Communications Channels: Oversee and manage internal communication channels, such as GetNet, internal newsletters, and team briefings, to keep employees informed about company news, therapy developments, and other key initiatives.
- Employee Engagement Channels – Advisory, Committee’s, Forum’s & Steering Groups: Support and drive employee communications for internal groups such as Women in Business, CSR Committee, Better Health at Work, Recognition Council, H&S Committee & HQ Meetings.
- Event Communication: Collaborate with senior leadership team to ensure that all internal events, including townhalls and internal meetings, are effectively communicated. Ensure clear and consistent messaging for employees around event details, objectives, and key takeaways. Own and lead on creating and collating the presentations and video content required.
- Change Management Communications: Support organisational change initiatives by developing communication strategies that help employees navigate transitions, innovations and operational shifts.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Collaboration with Clinical, Sales & Service Teams: Work closely with internal teams, particularly those involved in therapy development and clinical applications, to ensure that marketing and communications efforts align with the latest advancements and customer needs.
- Support Global Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate with Getinge’s global marketing team to ensure regional campaigns related to therapy development are aligned with global strategies and objectives.

Qualifications/ Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
Education: A degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare, or a related field. A professional qualification (e.g., CIM, IDM) would be advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on healthcare, therapy development, digital marketing, content creation, and event management.
- Proven experience in managing and promoting therapy-related communications, including product and service innovations in the healthcare sector.
- Experience in organizing and managing internal and external events, especially those focused on therapy development and customer engagement.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams, healthcare professionals, and external partners.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives, timelines, and priorities.
- Proficiency in marketing and analytics tools (CRM systems, social media platforms, email marketing tools, etc.), with a focus on tracking and reporting on therapy-related campaigns.
- A deep understanding of healthcare marketing, therapy development, and customer engagement best practices.
- Creative thinker with the ability to design compelling campaigns and events that resonate with healthcare professionals and customers.
