ABOUT THE CLIENT

We’re recruiting for a specialist communications consultancy working with clients across property, planning, development and the wider built environment.
Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a Communications Account Manager to join their London team. You’ll work across a varied portfolio of clients, combining account management with strategic communications and campaign delivery.
Previous built environment experience would be beneficial but isn’t essential, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience within a specialist consultancy.

THE COMMUNICATIONS ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE

You’ll take ownership of day-to-day client relationships and help deliver communications strategies across a range of projects.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of client accounts and projects
  • Developing and delivering communications campaigns
  • Producing press releases, statements, briefings and other content
  • Supporting media relations and PR activity
  • Delivering stakeholder engagement and public consultation
  • Managing multiple deadlines and project deliverables
  • Building relationships with journalists, stakeholders and project teams
  • Supporting new business and wider consultancy activity

COMMUNICATIONS ACCOUNT MANAGER – ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • 2–5 years’ experience within PR, communications, public affairs or a related field
  • Previous client or account management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Confidence working directly with clients and external stakeholders
  • Experience within property, planning or the built environment would be advantageous but isn’t essential
