Are you a creative, strategic communicator with experience in campaigns, marketing and audience engagement? We are seeking a Communications and Campaigns Officer to join our Corporate Communications Department at Nottinghamshire Police.
🚀 What you'll do
- Plan, develop and deliver force-wide campaigns, marketing activity and recruitment initiatives.
- Create engaging content across digital, social, print and multimedia platforms.
- Support the delivery of communications strategies that build public trust and confidence in policing.
- Identify new campaign opportunities and innovative ways to reach and engage target audiences.
- Work closely with communications colleagues to develop news-led campaigns that support force priorities.
- Evaluate campaign performance and use insight to drive continuous improvement.
- Champion the Nottinghamshire Police brand across all communication channels.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners and community stakeholders.
- Support recruitment marketing activities and events across the organisation.

💡 What We’re Looking For
- Experience working in a communications, marketing or campaigns role.
- Strong understanding of social media, digital communications and audience engagement.
- Experience creating engaging content, including written, visual, audio or video materials.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Experience planning, delivering and evaluating campaigns.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience using creative software and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Ability to build effective relationships and influence a range of stakeholders.
- A creative mindset combined with strong attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
